Wedding Jewelry

A friend of mine is getting married in August and wanted some jewelry for her bridesmaids. Mind you-- she has seven. She was looking for gifts for them and because she has so many, it was difficult to find anything that was affordable to give to each of them. So I took on the task of making some necklaces and earrings for the girls. The dresses are red so we decided that it would be best to go with clear AB crystals (iridescent finish) so that the jewelry can pick up the color. The good thing about going with clear crystals is that the recipient can wear the jewelry anytime and with anything even after the wedding. I decided to also make each necklace sightly different-- starting with the chain, number of crystals within the chain, and the pendant. All of the necklaces were similar in that they had a clasp with an extender so that if they wanted to make the necklace longer for a different outfit, they could do so by putting it on the last ring.

Dainty Cluster Earrings

I love earrings that are feminine and dainty but with a twist. Here are some glass bead and swarovski earrings that I created a few months ago. The bottom bead is usually an 8mm or 10mm Swarovski crystal or Czechs glass bead with various 3mm/4mm bicone beads or glass pearls on top. They are made of genuine sterling silver or gold filled wire. This is one of my favorite designs. These earrings can be dressed up or down. They measure approximately 1 inch from top of the hook to the bottom. These earrings are a great addition to any girl's jewelry box! They are only $15 plus shipping!! I'll post more pictures of my variations on this design.

I began dabbling in jewelry over 10 years ago-- creating necklaces with seedbeads and crimp beads. I've perfected my craft and began working with wire/chain to create unique and beautiful pieces. I love jewelry-- something sparkly, dainty, or "WOW" to look perfect with that outfit or to give as a meaningful gift to someone special. Everything is hand-crafted meticulously.
